The greatest benefit lies in knowing you are providing for the future of Woods and your loved ones.
Gifts to Woods Services are essential because, like most non-profit schools or residential programs, tuition and fees do not cover the entire cost of the services provided. Closing this financial gap depends largely on philanthropic support so that we can continue to provide highly individualized programs and state-of-the-art care. We steward your gift so you can be assured it will be used as you requested.
Planned Giving allows you to express your personal values by integrating your charitable, family and financial goals. Making a planned charitable gift usually requires the assistance of the Woods Services’ Development staff and/or a knowledgeable advisor, such as an attorney, financial planner or Certified Public Accountant to help structure the gift.
Those who have included Woods in their estate planning will be recognized as a member of Woods’ Heritage Association. For more information, please contact Dalene Neopolitan at 215-750-4250 or at dneopolitan@woods.org.

Estate and Planned Giving Opportunities:
Bequests
Allow you to build a Legacy for Woods Services’ future without affecting your current assets or income. Charitable bequests provide flexibility and require no immediate donation. Today, 55% of Americans leave no will. Without a will, your estate is distributed according to state law, which may not be according to your wishes. Consider a bequest to Woods Services in your will.
Charitable Gift Annuities
Allow you to receive regular, fixed payments when you make a gift to Woods Services. At the end of your lifetime, remaining funds become a gift to Woods Services. Annuities may generate immediate tax savings to the donor.
Life Insurance
There are ways you can use life insurance as the basis for a charitable gift:
Name Woods Services as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy
Name Woods Services as the owner of a new or existing life insurance policy
