We use innovative treatment concepts, applied technology and evidenced-based research to help each individual live a fulfilling life. Our therapies include:
Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy: develops and implements compensatory strategies to make the world cognitively accessible.
Physical Therapy: provides intervention and treatment in all aspects of physical mobility, strength and balance in order to obtain the highest level of physical accessibility within the home and community.
Occupational Therapy: focuses on providing the individual with strategies to maximize functional performance within the home and community.
Speech Language Therapy: focuses on areas of communication and language through the use of direct treatment and the development of compensatory strategies – Dysphagia evaluation and treatment is carefully monitored and implemented.
NeuroHealth: provides health and wellness services to the individuals who reside in Community Residences, coordinated by Beechwood NeuroRehab’s Medical Director – along with other onsite physician consultation from Neurology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and NeuroPsychiatry. On-site Rehabilitation Nursing staff provide direct treatment and medication management.
NeuroPsychology: conducts assessments and develops goals and strategies towards the realization of goals pertaining to interpersonal relationships, self-awareness, adjustment to disability and specialized issues relating to substance abuse and sexuality; conducted in a team approach in which licensed psychologists coordinate with other members of the transdisciplinary team.
Clinical Care Management: works in coordination with the individual served, the transdisciplinary team, family and funding agency to ensure the achievement of common goals; functions as the team leader in the coordination of the NeuroFunctional assessment and implementating the Rehabilitation Service Plan.
